Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens secured the final spot in the Greek Cup semifinals after beating Promitheas Patras 76-68.

Nick Calathes led the winning side with 15 points and five assists while Deshaun Thomas added 12 in addition to Stephane Lasme’s ten points. On the other side, Terell Parks scored 14 while Michalis Tsairelis added 13 points.

Both teams started the game ‘guns blazing’ as PAO had a 29-24 lead after ten minutes of the match. Things slowed down a bit in the second period and the ‘Greens’ were ahead 46-39. The halftime rest didn’t change much as Promitheas couldn’t close the gap and Panathinaikos secured the win.

Panathinaikos clinched the final spot in the semifinals as Olympiacos, PAOK and Kymi qualified beforehand. The match-ups will be decided with a draw.
