Panionios held on for twenty minutes but Olympiacos took over the control in the second half and recorded a 98-72 home win on Day 7 of Greek League.

Nigel Williams-Goss led the way with 17 points while Sasha Vezenkov and Zach LeDay added 15 each. For Panionios, Nondas Papantoniou scored game-high 20 in addition to Davion Berry’s 14 points.

It was a fairly balanced first half as Panionios had a small 20-18 lead after ten minutes but Olympiacos went on the break with a 45-41 advantage. The hosts stepped it up a notch and went ahead 71-56 at the end of third never looking back on their way to a convincing win in the end.

The game between Kolossos and Panathinaikos (which should’ve been played today) was postponed due to the illness that put half of the ‘Greens’ in hospital.

Olympiacos improved to 6-1 while Panionios holds a 2-5 record. Peristeri is undefeated (7-0) along with Panathinaikos (6-0) while Kolossos resides at the bottom with 1-5.
