Olympiacos defeated Aris Thessaloniki by 76-67 ahead of Friday’s (8/2) EuroLeague game against Buducnost on the road. Thanks to this win, Olympiacos improved to 16 – 1. Aris dropped to 6 – 11.

Briante Weber flirted with the triple-double after notching 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 13 assists in 31 minutes. The American point-guard was really close to this rare achievement with one quarter left but he preferred to share the ball instead of searching numbers. But he had already tied for his club since only Theodoros Papaloukas and Milos Teodosic have dished 13 assists in the Greek league while wearing the jersey of Olympiacos.

Axel Toupane also helped out Olympiacos with a game-high 17 points while Lefteris Bochoridis finished with 13 points for the guests.
