Promitheas Patras bounced back from the midweek elimination in Basketball Champions League by routing Cholargos 86 – 61 and climb to the Greek League’s top four teams in the standings thanks to a 13 – 6 record.

Octavius Ellis and Terell Parks scored 14 points apiece for Promitheas in what was a balanced team effort. Vlado Jankovic dropped 22 points for Cholargos that dropped to 8 – 11.

The Greek “Derby of the Eternal Rivals” between defending champion Panathinaikos and Olympiacos didn’t take place since the “Reds” decided to not play the game due to the denial of their request for non-Greek referees. A 20 – 0 win was registered for Panathinaikos that remains undefeated. Olympiacos is now 17 – 2. The club is expected to be sanctioned for forfeiting the match and thus drop lower in the standings.
