Panathinaikos resumed its activities in the Greek League by crushing Kolossos Rhodes at home 95 – 68 to remain the only undefeated team in the championship after 20 Rounds.

The Greens combined their win with a new club record for rebounds in the Greek League. Rick Pitino’s players collected 63 boards overall (43 on defense, 20 on offense), breaking the previous record of 58, set in a game vs. Sporting in the 1995 playoffs.

George Papagiannis posted team-highs 16 points and 16 rebounds for Panathinaikos, while Ioannis Papapetrou, DeShaun Thomas and Dinos Mitoglou scored 12 apiece. The latter also had seven boards.

For bottom-placed Kolossos, that dropped to 3-17, Tre Demps dropped 17 points. Stevie Browning had 14 points and five assists.

In the other Greek League games of Round 20, Nigel Williams-Goss and Briante Weber pushed Olympiacos to a blowout victory over Panionios. The Reds have an 18 – 2 record since the six-point penalty due to forfeiting the derby vs. Panathinaikos hasn’t been officially applied yet.

Third-placed AEK beat Ifaistos 87 – 74 behind 21 points and six rebounds by Vince Hunter.
