The scheduled game between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos OPAP for the Greek Basket League Regular Season Round 19 was forfeited by the Reds, while the League’s sport judge decided to award the game to the Greens on a 20-0 margin, reduce six points from Olympiacos’ total in the Greek League and also impose an 11,000€ fine to the team.

Following these events and Olympiacos‘ appeal to the court, the penalty was reduced to a two-point reduction as of Friday, a total of -8 points.

The points are not deducted yet in the official league standings, as according to bylaws, the punishment will be calculated at the final standings of the regular season.
