Panathinaikos needs one more win to advance in the Greek League Finals.

Nick Calathes posted a double-double of 14 points and 13 assists as Panathinaikos beat Peristeri 86 – 66 at home in Game 2 of the Greek League semifinals to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series.

DeShaun Thomas added 12 points and five rebounds while Keith Langford and Ioannis Papapetrou also scored 12 apiece for Panathinaikos. The “Greens” took a 52 – 34 at halftime after outplaying their opponents 33 – 17 in the second period and never looked back.

Former Panathinaikos center Gaios Skordilis had 17 points and eight rebounds for Peristeri.

In Patras, Promitheas defeated AEK Athens 74 – 65 behind 19 points by Langston Hall to tie the semifinal series 1-1. Gabe York had 13 points for AEK.
