AEK managed to bounce back and force overtime but Promitheas still got the win and a spot in the Greek League Finals

AEK forced overtime with a comeback but Promitheas stayed calm and came out on top 85-84. They won the series 3-2 advancing to the Greek League Finals where they will clash against Panathinaikos.

Leonidas Kaselakis scored 17 points for the victors followed by Rion Brown’s 16 points and nine rebounds. Octavius Ellis and Terrell Parks added 12 points each with the latter also grabbing eight boards.

Promitheas had a 39-34 halftime lead and improved it to 59-49 in front of the final period. However, AEK bounced back led by Vince Hunter’s 12 fourth-quarter points while Dusan Sakota added seven points in the last 2:30 of the game including a triple to send it into overtime with five seconds left.

For AEK, Vince Hunter banked 26 points and led his squads’ comeback but also missed multiple free throws in key moments of the game. Giannoulis Larentzakis and Howard Sant-Roos helped with 14 points each.
