The team from Patras was overwhelmed 28 – 13 by Panathinaikos in the second period, never to recover. The Greens proceeded to drop 30 points in the third quarter against their opponents’ 20 to further establish their dominance.

At halftime, Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos left the arena. The boss of the club later released a statement for the game’s low attendance (3.100), saying that it was “shameful.”
