It was a special night for both Goran Dragic and Luka Doncic, playing alongside 2.000 Slovenians that traveled all the way to Miami, Florida to watch their compatriots clash for the first time as opponents and not teammates.
“For the first time in my career, I was nervous before the game. It was different for me. I played against Goran for the first time”, tells Doncic on Eurohoops’ camera.
As far as being influenced by Dragic, Doncic undeniably agrees. “He has influenced me a lot. We were in the EuroBasket, he taught me a lot. He’s a special person, very humble”, he adds.
