Αnadolu Efes, Besiktas and Galatasaray reached the Final 8 of Spor Toto Türkiye Kupası, after they got all three games they had on their agenda. Pinar Karsiyaka, Hacettepe Universitesi and Fenerbahce Ulker followed, as the second team of A’, B’ and D’ group.

For the participants of Group C, we had to wait till the end to get to know which one of Banvit or Tofas will follow TED Ankara Kolejililer. It was Banvit, which also got nothing but victories (after 86-54 over Tofas)

Just so you know, Spor Toto Türkiye Kupası is actually a mini league, if you concider that they have four groups with 4 teams at each one, as a first round. They also have standings, with the best two of each group qualifying to the Final 8, where they match up for win or die games till the end!

Anadolu Efes reached undefeated the Final 8, after they beat Pinar Karsiyaka (76-57), for Group A. But Efes‘s… victims followed their aggressors, as they were the second team on the standings.

Besiktas’ road to Spor Toto Türkiye Kupası’s Final 8 was also undefeated, with 77-71 over Aliaga Petkim being the third straight victory and Hacettepe Üniversitesi overcame Antalya’s resistance (89-84), to get the second place.

In C’ Group, TED Ankara Kolejililer finished first… the sprint to Final 8 (they got away from Turk Telekom by 2 points, 82-84) and then they waited to see who will follow.

In D’ Group, Galatasaray found their way to Final 8, walking on the same path with Anadolu Efes and Besiktas (3/3). The last victory was over Fenerbahce Ulker (74-69), with Simone Pianigiani’s team getting the qualification, as second.
