After beating Panathinaikos for Euroleague, Khimki got one more important victory against Unics Kazan for the VTB League and has a 4-1 record. Lietuvos Rytas won on the road Kalev Talin in the last game of the 5th gameday

The 5th gameday of VTB League was completed with Khimki getting the most important win of the day over Unics Kazan (85-74). The Moscow club now has a 4-1 record and the second place in group A behind unbeaten Spartak (5-0). In the same group, Lietuvos Rytas (2-3) got the road win in Estonia against Kalev Talin (1-4) by 13 points (73-60).
