Zalgiris wins in VTB, CSKA defeated in PBL

Zalgiris Kaunas is emerging as one of the elite teams in Europe this season and one more proof of that was its impressive 99-64 road win against Enisey for VTB League. Croatian center Mario Delas (photo) was the top scorer for the Lithuanians with 19 points, a 23 years old player who is still considered a prospect. After this win, Zalgiris has a 8-1 record and shares the top of the standings in group B with CSKA Moscow.

VTB 2012-2013 – 9th Day

The “Army team” played on Thursday for PBL in a game that was won by Khimki (75-70). Still CSKA has a 7-1 record in its domestic league and the top of the standings followed by Khimki (5-2).
