After losing by “Krasny Oktyabr” – a.k.a. Red October – in the Russian Cup, CSKA Moscow got revenge with a 84-57 win as the team of coach Messina is still second (15-2) in Group B of VTB league, behind unbeaten Khimki (16-0). In Group A, Unics leads 17-1 and Lietuvos Rytas with a 12-5 record secured the second place and a quarterfinal birth. The teams between the third and the sixth place of each group will play between them in order to meet the top four in the quarterfinals.
