Milano and Sassari made the second step towards the semifinals of Legabasket against Pistoia and Brindisi. However this was a one man show night, as Sassari’s Drake Diener once more proved to be one of the most gifted shooters in Europe.
Diener had 31 points in 27 minutes of action on 7/9 threes in the easy 89-62 win of his team. Milano‘s captain Alessandro Gentile was the top scorer with 19 points in the 87-67 win over Pistoia.
