Alba Berlin qualified to the finals of BEKO BBL for the first time since 2011. Their opponent will be known after a Game 5 between the top seeded team of the league, Bayern Munich, and feisty EWE Oldenburg which tied the series at 2-2.
With Julius Jenkins scoring 20 points, Oldenburg got the 70-60 win over Bayern Munich. The game was decided in the third quarter with a 21-0 run by the hosts and a partial score of 25-7.
On the contrary, despite 26 points by Brandon Thomas, Alba got the 69-61 road win over Artland and with 3-1 wins got the ticket to the finals.
