With three minutes left in Game 7 of Legabasket’s finals the score was tied at 62. In the end, EA7 Milano prevailed (74-67) and got the championship title from Siena, which fought until the last second in what was its admirable final stand.

Due its financial problems and tax evasion charges, former champion Siena will be relegated to the fourth division of Italy and already lost its Euroleague A license. However coach Crespi and his players held their ground in a great finals series against a team that consists from former Siena key members like coach Banchi, Daniel Hackett and David Moss. Both of them made crucial shots in the end, leading Milano to its first title since 1996, while Siena lost the crown after seven straight seasons.

One night after being drafted in the NBA, Alessandro Gentile was the top scorer of Milano with 18 points, he also added 3 rebounds and was named MVP of the finals.
