With Bracey Wright scoring 22 points and despite the fourth quarter charge of Nymburk, Hapoel Jerusalem got the easy 94-84 win in its first game for the Euroleague qualifying round. The Israelis proved on the court that they were the favorites and never got into trouble by the Czechs.

Along with Wright, five more players of the winners scored in double digits (Smith, Jones, Eliyahu, Kitchen, Gaffney). Tre Simmons and Darius Washington had 18 points each for the losing side, but Nymburk never had the lead and couldn’t do any better than stay close during the first half.
