Real prevailed over Valencia 89-76 and Barcelona over Laboral 95-66 in the semifinals of the Supercopa and we will have for fifth time in the history a clasico in the final! Two wins so far for Madridistas and two for Blaugrana.
Sergio Llull scored 16 crucial points, Felipe Reyes added 13 and Real Madrid got the 89-76 win over Valencia in the first semifinal of the Spanish Supercopa. Until the 36th minute the game was close but in the end this duo for Real made the difference.
Llull made three consecutive threes and Reyes had seven consecutive points. The top scorer of the winners was Rudy Fernandez with 21 points. Gustavo Ayon debuted for Real Madrid, taking the place of Marcus Slaughter in the active roster for the games of Supercopa.
Barcelona didn’t have any problemagainst Laboral and won easily 95-66. Barca’s lead was in double digit since the first quarter and the hosts of the Supercopa couldn’t do much having only Heurtel, San Emeterio and Bertans in a good night. Abrines, Navarro, Satoransky and Oleson were the best of Barcelona.
