Linas Kleiza (17p., 7 reb.) and Joe Ragland (16p., 5 reb.) led Milano to the win 71-59 over Brindisi in the first semifinal of the SuperCoppa. The champs had also in a great night Gentile (11p., 8 reb.) and Samardo Samuels (12p., 4 reb.) and dominated the game in the second half. Brindisi just couldn’t fight until the end for the ticket to the final.
In the title game the opponent of the champions will be Sassari after beating Roma (89-73) in a game which was a one sided affair. Sassari got almost a double digits lead after the first quarter (22-13) and never looked back, shooting an unusual 15/37 three pointers.
