The first round of Eurocup’s new season was impressive. In total 36 teams are participating in the regular season and eight of them started their campaign with a road win. See the results and the boxscores

The first round of Eurocup’s new season concluded in an impressive way. In total 36 teams are participating in the regular season, among them Khimki which beat VEF Riga almost by 30 points (94-65) and features the last Euroleague Final Four MVP Tyrese Rice who was the leading scorer with 16 points. Ιn total we had eight road wins, none more impressive than the double overtime win of PAOK at Karsiyaka (87-81) behind 22 points by Jake Odum.

In a past Euroleague match up, Lokomotiv beat Zielona Gora with Derrick Brown scoring 23 points, while Roma prevailed at Belgium over Spirou Charleroi (88-59) as Brandon Triche scored 26 points and he is the MVP of round 1. Strasbourg also got a big win at Bonn (86-83) thanks to a three pointer by Antoine Diot (video).
