In the best Euroleague game of the season so far – and probably one all time classic – Galatasaray after two overtimes got the 110-103 win over Crvena Zvezda. Zoran Erceg with 32 points in a career night and Carlos Arroyo with 26 (tied his personal best) were the leaders of the winners.

It was a game of runs with Crvena Zvezda getting a 63-54 lead after three quarters. The hosts reacted and with 9 seconds left Boban Marjanovic gave a 82-79 advantage to the Serbs. However with an amazing buzzer beater three pointer hook shot Zoran Erceg send the game to overtime (82-82). No one backed down in the extra five minutes and that led to a second overtime (96-96). With the pressure more than high, Crvena Zvezda started to bend. The guests had the chance to tie the game, but Luka Mitrovic made a turnover and Galatasaray thanks to a lay up by Kerem Gonlum and a three by Carlos Arroyo got a 107-100 lead with 47 seconds to go.

One more three by Arroyo sealed the win of the hosts (110-101) who more than deserved it. The same can be said for the guests who had Marjanovic (23 p., 17 r.), Mitrovic (30 p.) and Kalinic (21 p.) on a big night and Marcus Williams despite 3/16 shots breaking the Euroleage record for assists with 17. A second before the end of the game, Luka Mitrovic made 2/2 FTs and saved Crvena Zvezda’s advantage against Galatasaray after their win (76-68) in the first round.
