Unicaja Malaga and Nizhny Novgorod got the final wins of the night and they both made one more step towards the Top16, something expected for the Spaniards but not so much before the start of the season for Niznhy.

However the Russians with a great last quarter (26-17) got the 89-82 road win over Dinamo Sassari and have their fate on their hands. And if we have to pick the hands of a specific player, then Taylor Rochestie is our man in his best Euroleague night with 29 points, 7 assists and also 5 turnovers. With him leading the charge, the  partial score in the last five minute of the game was 19-8 for Nizhny.

Unicaja on the other hand faced a feisty Cedevita, but had the control for most of the game on the way to a 82-73 win. With four minutes left the Croatians cut the lead of the Spaniards to three (74-71), however they couldn’t score more than two points, a lay up by Dellas with 48 seconds to go (89-73) until the end. Ryan Toolson with 19 points was once again the top scorer of the winners. From the other side Miro Bilan scored 21 points and Roko Leni Ukic 15 points and a personal best 9 assists.
