With no game for unbeaten Nizhny Novgorod this week in VTB, CSKA Moscow reached the same number of wins (7-1) with Nizhny (7-0). The “army team” destroyed Astana (89-63) in Moscow with Andrey Vorontsevich being the top scorer with 15 points. Also Unics Kazan beat VEF Riga and with a 5-2 record remained fourth, behind Khimki (6-1).
