CSKA was on the verge of losing its first Euroleague game this season but prevailed in overtime over Nizhny (103-95). The hosts remain unbeaten on the top and the visitors proved once again that they are too hard too die.
Five minutes before the end, CSKA had an 11 points lead (86-75). However, Nizhny had the strength to come back and tied the game (88-88) three seconds before the end thanks to its fantastic four. Rochestie scored 22 points and dished 9 assists, Kinsey scored 19 and grabbed 10 rebounds, Thompkins scored 22 points and grabbed 7 and Parakhouski scored 18 and grabbed 8 rebounds.
Kaun missed the chance to win the game in regulation, but Teodosic (25 p.) stepped up in the extra period and together with De Colo (13p, 8 reb.) and Vorontsevich (22p, 9 reb.) led CSKA to the big victory.
