In what turned out to be a dogfight that was decided in the last two minutes, Alba Berlin hold on to a big 66-59 road win in Tel Aviv over Maccabi with Alex Renfroe and Jamel Mclean being the heros of the last seconds.
The two of them combined for eight points in the 8-2 run that closed the game for Alba, while Renfroe also had a block and one assist. The champs had an off night with Smith, Randle and Pargo missing big shots in the end, when everything was on the line. The score was 58-57 for the guests with 2,5 minutes to go, but Maccabi couldn’t get any closer. McLean with 18 points and 6 rebounds was the best of the game.
