The defending cup winners, Karsiyaka, and Fenerbahce/ Ulker were the winners in the first two quartefinal games of the Turkish cup final eight. However Fenerbahce survived just by a point and prevailed over host Gaziantep.

Karsiyaka got an easy win over Banvit (89-64). Bobby Dixon (18 p., 3 as.) and Jon Diebler (17 p., 4 r. , 3 as.) led the charge for the winners. James Baron with 14 points was the top scorer of Banvit. On the contrary Fenerbahce/ Ulker got the 73-72 win in a game decided in the last minute. Jawad Williams made it a one point game (73-72), he had the chance to give the lead to Gaziantep, but he missed with 27 seconds to go and coach Obradovic‘s team managed to escape with the win as Oliver Stevic had one more chance for the win, but couldn’t beat the final buzzer with his lay up. Nemanja Bjelica with 18 points and 9 rebounds was the best for the winners.

The two winners will face each other in the semifinals.
