The fixture of the Greek League is over after a close game between Olympiacos and AEK. Reds prevailed 83-77 with Vspan being the leader once more, great game by Mensah Bonsu

The 17th day of the Greek League regular season is over with the tough home win of Olympiacos against AEK Athens. The Reds prevailed 83-77  in a close game which was decided at the last two minutes. Vassilis Spanoulis proved to be the leader of his team once more with 21 points/12 assist and strong effect in the crucial minutes of the battle.

Dragan Sakota’s team played in high level for 40 minutes, but waisted the chance for a big victory. The key point for this appereance was the solid low post game in offensive end. Pops Mensah Bonsu destroyed his opponents (24pts on 9/11 2p shots) and Malik Hairston also had a productive game.

The Reds remain at the top of the Greek League with 16-1 record and Panathinaikos follows with 15-2.
