After a two seasons break, Zalgiris Kaunas won the Lithuanian Cup title by topping its arch-rival Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius 82-76 on Sunday. Edgaras Ulanovas had 16 points and 6 rebounds in victory, while Will Cherry, Siim-Sander Vene and Paulius Jankunas each scored 12. The bad news for Zalgiris was the ankle injury of Arturas Gudaitis who is expected to miss three weeks of action.
Zielona Gora won its first ever Polish Cup title after 77-71 win over Rosa Radom in the finals in Gdynia. Russell Robinson and Przemyslaw Zamojski finished with 18 points each, and Quinton Hosley scored 15 in victory.
