Lokomotiv Kuban and CSKA Moscow qualified with a 3-0 sweep to the semifinals of VTB league, ending the season for Astana and also for the dissapointing Unics Kazan.
CSKA destroyed Astana also on the road (111-75), while Lokomotiv beat Unics (86-75) which ended the season playing without two injured key players, Curtis Jerrells who was hurt in his achilles tendon and Viktor Sanikidze (shoulder).
Meanwhile Nizhny Novgorod has a 2-1 advantage after beating at home Zenit (88-77) and Khimki has a 2-0 lead over Avtodor (87-71).
