Micov saved the day for Olimpia Milano against feisty Cremona.

Vladimir Micov hit the game-winning three-pointer with four seconds remaining in the game, to hand Olimpia Milano77-74 victory against visiting Cremona in Round 22 of the Italian League.

Micov was also the leading scorer of the hosts, exiting the court with 22 points, two rebounds, while Nemanja Nedovic posted 12 points. Cremona’s Ethan Happ led his team with 16 points and 9 rebounds.

After 22 rounds of action in Italy, Virtus Bologna still reigns the standings with 18-2 (and two games less due to the Intercontinental Cup), Sassari ranks second with 15-5, while Brescia is at a 14-7 tie with Olimpia Milano for the third place.
