Adrian Banks stepped up for Brindisi against Sassari setting a new record and leading the squad to the Italian Cup semifinals

Adrian Banks put on a big performance as Happy Casa Brindisi won 91-86 against Dinamo Sassari and advanced to the Italian Cup semifinals.

Banks logged 37 points (highest in Italian Cup history) on 6-12 from deep and grabbed eight rebounds along the way. Kelvin Martin added 14 in addition to Dominique Sutton and Darius Thompson’s ten points each.

For Sassari, Dyshawn Pierre flirted with a double-double notching 21 points and nine boards while Curtis Jerrells helped with 20 points.

In the semifinals, Brindisi will face Fortitudo Bologna which came out as the winner of the clash with Brescia while the other pair consists of Olimpia Milano and Venezia.
