A new government decree has ruled that all sporting events in Italy will only be played behind closed doors until April 3 in an effort to contain the coronavirus. The country has been hit with over 3,000 positive tests and 107 deaths.

The official decision directly affects basketball as well. Any scheduled Legabasket games will be without fans. The same goes for the scheduled contests in various European club competitions.
