Olimpia Milano crushed Cantu 101 – 71 in the opener of the 2020 Italian Supercup. The “Red Shoes” dominated from start to finish and shot 13/24 3-pointers to reach the win that puts them in a pole position in Group A of the competition.

Kevin Punter dropped a game-high 17 points and grabbed five rebounds for Milano. Kyle Hines (14 points, five rebounds), Gigi Datome (14 points) and Davide Moretti (11 points) also scored in double figures for Ettore Messina’s team while Sergio Rodriguez dished out 10 assists to go with his six points.

Sha’markus Kennedy led Cantu with 16 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Martin Leunen scored 15 and Jaime Smith added 14 points plus seven assists.
