11 Reggio Emilia players test positive for COVID-19

Nearly everyone on Reggio Emilia’s roster has the coronavirus.

The Italian Serie A game between Reggio Emilia and Treviso for Round 6 of the regular season has been postponed due to 11 players of the team testing positive for coronavirus, the league announced.

After Filipo Baldi Rossi, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, Reggio Emilia announced Sunday that ten more cases among players: Jamis Blums, Federico Bonacini, Josh Bostic, Leonardo Candi, Ibrahima Cham, Mouhamet Diouf, Marco Giannini, Justin Johnson, Tomas Kyzlink and Brandon Taylor. Team physiotherapist Stefano Bini also tested positive. They are all in isolation.

As a result, all team activities have been suspended.
