Minus two games postponed, a new batch of Italian league matches are scheduled through the weekend

AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan up 6-0 will host Germani Brescia Sunday, but the Italian league’s Round 7 tipped off Saturday with three matches, including Happy Casa Brindisi extending its winning streak to six games.

Dolomiti Energia Trento – Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari 92-78

Victor Sanders marked the comfortable home win with 23 points. The Idaho alumni sank five out of seven shots from beyond the arc.

A bright spot for the visiting team, Eimantas Bendzius finished with 25 points.

Segafredo Virtus Bologna – Happy Casa Brindisi 88-98

Darius Thompson scored 25 points and D’Angelo Harrison made 20 for the road victory. The visitors fought off a furious fourth-quarter rally led by Milos Teodosic, but his 20 points were not enough for the “W”.

Lavoropiu Fortitudo Bologna – De’ Longhi Treviso 87-98

Red-hot experienced guard David Logan forced yet another home loss for a team based in Bologna with 35 points behind 14/23 field goals, including 6/10 threes. Nicola Akele and Matteo Chillo combined for 34 more points on the road.

Adrian Banks went for 20 points in a losing effort.

Virtus Roma – Umana Reyer Venezia 71-89

Isaac Fotu scored 19 points for the victors followed by Michael Bramos with 17 and Stefano Tonut with 15 points.

For Roma, Luca Campogrande scored 18 and Tommaso Baldasso 16 points. Baldasso also grabbed ten rebounds and dished ten assists for a triple-double.

Olimpia Milano – Germani Brescia 87-56

Shavon Shields was leading the charge with 16 points while Zach LeDay added 15 and Michaell Roll 14 points.

TJ Cline scored 15 for Brescia in addition to Christian Burns’ 12 points.

Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro – Openjobmetis Varese 85-78

Justin Robinson scored 22 points for the victors while Carlos Delfino added 18. Marko Filipovity had nine points but also grabbed 17 rebounds.

For Varese, Luis Scola had 22 and Ingus Jakovics 12 points. Arturs Strautins logged 12 points and 11 boards.

Vanoli Basket Cremona – Acqua S.Bernardo Cantu 101-67

Daulton Hommes banked in 23 points in 26 minutes to lead the victors while Jarvis Williams added 20. Marcus Lee logged 14 points as well as 14 rebounds.

For Cantu, Gabriele Procida scored 15 in addition to Jordan Bayehe’s 13 points.
