After getting a historic first-ever EuroLeague road win over Real Madrid Friday (8/1), Olimpia Milano hasn’t yet been able to return back to Italy.

Milano got stuck in Madrid due to the bad weather conditions caused by the snowstorm Filomena that have forced the Spanish capital’s international airport to close. The “Red Shoes” traveled to Valencia via train Sunday awaiting a flight back home.

The Italian League postponed Milano’s Sunday game against Vanoli Cremona to a later date that has yet to determined.

The team coached by Ettore Messina actually held practice in Valencia Monday. They are scheduled to host Valencia Tuesday (12/11) in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 19 action.
