Milos Teodosic scored 29 points as Virtus Bologna beat Happy Casa Brindisi 78 – 75 in Game 3 of the Italian League semifinals to make a sweep and advance to the championship series for the first time since 2007.

Teodosic also had five assists in the 28 minutes he spent on the floor. Julian Gamble dropped 11 points plus five rebounds and Marco Bellineli scored 11 for Virtus.

D’Angelo Harrison (15 points, nine rebounds), Marco Vittuci (14 points) and Darius Thompson (11 points) scored in double figures for Brindisi.

Virtus will face Olimpia Milano in the Finals. The “Red Shoes” qualified by beating Reyer Venezia 93 – 83 on the road in Game 3 and also sweeping the series.

Kevin Punter scored 19 points and got six rebounds, Kyle Hines had 17 points plus five boards, Zach LeDay posted 16 points and five rebounds while Shavon Shields dropped 16 points.

Austin Daye had 19 points for Venezia.
