Virtus Bologna did it again. 48 hours after beginning the Italian League Finals by beating Olimpia Milano in Game 1, Milos Teodosic and company now took a new, 83 – 72 away win to increase their best-of-seven series lead to 2-0.

Teodosic delivered 21 points and five assists while scoring five straight points to put Bologna up 65 – 75 with 1:37 to play in a dominant (13-25) fourth quarter for the guests. He then drained a pair of free throws for the 68 – 77 and Kyle Weems (11 points) added the finishing touch with 2-2 of his own to make it 70 – 77, 30 seconds before the final buzzer.

Giampaolo Ricci dropped 15 points and Marco Belinelli 13 for Virtus.

Shavon Shields had 16 points and Sergio Rodriguez scored 13 for Milano that led 59 – 58 early in the fourth period but were outplayed down the stretch. Ettore Messina’s players will look to bounce back in Game 3 before heading to Bologna.
