Kyle Weems scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Virtus Bologna beat Olimpia Milano 76 – 58 in Game 3 of the Italian League Finals to get a 3-0 lead. Bologna overpowered its opponents 24 – 6 in the fourth quarter and kept them scoreless for the last three minutes to get the win.

Milos Teodosic had 12 points plus six assists for Virtus while Alessandro Pajola contributed 10 points and six rebounds to Virtus’ win. Their team hosts Game 4 Friday (11/6) and can win the first championship in 20 years in front of their home crowd.

Gigi Datome (14 points, five rebounds), Shavon Shields (14 points, five rebounds) and Kevin Punter (11 points, five rebounds) scored in double figures for Milano. The “Red Shoes”, that were without guard Malcolm Delaney, are in front of an uphill battle of winning four straight games to prevent the upset.
