Olimpia Milano and Napoli Basket had the honors to play the first game of the 2021-22 season in Italy and the EuroLeague squad came out on top with 73-63.
Defensive effort proved crucial for Milano while Luigi Datome and Shavon Shields led the offensive side with 13 points each. Dinos Mitoglou logged a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Nicolo Melli also added ten points. For Napoli, Jordan Parks banked in game-high 17 points followed by Amas Velicka who had 12. Pierpaolo Marini and Josh Mayo scored 10 each.
