Olimpia Milano extended its perfect streak in the Italian League to 9 – 0 by crushing Treviso Basket 85 – 55 at home.

In light of several Milano absences (Dinos Mitoglou, Sergio Rodriguez, Malcolm Delaney) and minute restrictions (Nicolo Melli), Milano coach Ettore Messina used all of his 12 players and 10 of them scored. Shavon Shields had 15 points, Giampaolo Rizzi posted 13 points and eight rebounds while Gigi Datome finished with 11 points.

For Treviso, Henry Sims had 16 points and 11 rebounds while DeWayne Russell scored 14.

Milano forward/center Paul Biligha was forced to exit the game after colliding with teammate Kaleb Tarzcewski and unintentionally getting hit on the ear. “I’m a little worried about him,” Messina said. “He was dizzy so he went to make the necessary examinations.”

Virtus Bologna defeated Happy Casa Brindisi 90 – 82 to improve to 7-2 and stay in pursuit of Milano. Kevin Hervey had 20 points for the winning side.
