Shifting back to the Italian league, AX Armani Exchange Milan makes short work of Openjobmetis Varese

A couple of days after the win opposite Anadolu Efes in Istanbul, AX Armani Exchange Milan routed Openjobmetis Varese, 95-77, at home Saturday night.

Konstantinos Mitoglou stood out in a balanced scoring effort packing a team-high 14 points to go along with nine rebounds. Kaleb Tarczewski paired 13 points with nine rebounds. Troy Daniels and Tommaso Baldasso chipped in 12 points each. Sergio Rodriguez, Malcolm Delaney, Kyle Hines, and Ben Bentil sat out the LBA Serie A Regular Season Round 24 contest along with Trey Kell (leg) and Riccardo Moraschini (suspended).

The visitors, battling to clinch a Playoffs berth, dropped to 10-13. Tomas Woldetensae logged a game-high 18 points and Southern Illinois product Anthony Beane followed with 14 points.
