Olimpia Milano was victorious on the domestic front while there were a number of strong displays across the Italian league including Miro Bilan and Stefano Tonut

Olimpia Milano got a 70-61 win over Cremona as the Euroleague powerhouse continues the chase after the top seed.  They improved to 20-5 but Virtus Bologna also got a win over Trento and remained two wins in front with a 22-3 record.

Shavon Shields led Milano with 13 points while Nicolo Melli scored 12 and Jerian Grant 11 points.

Meanwhile, Toko Shengelia had 19 points, 11 boards and five assists for Virtus.

The top scorer of the round was Stefano Tonut who logged 27 points in Umana Reyer Venice’s 80-78 overtime win against Happy Casa Brindisi.

Miro Bilan scored 24 in Sassari’s win over Treviso while Tyrique Jones scored 24 for Pesaro which just barely escaped Fortitudo Bologna.
