Tornike Shengelia scored 22 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out four assists as Virtus Bologna beat Olimpia Milano 75 – 68 at home to tie the Italian League Finals 1-1.

It was a game of multiple ups and downs and comebacks for both teams throughout the first 30 minutes. Virtus held a small, yet steady advantage in the fourth period and made a 8 – 2 run to lead 69 – 61 with 2:23 to play.

Milano cut that deficit to 71 – 66 with a minute remaining but a basket by Shengelia and two free throws by Kyle Weems kept them out of reach.

Mam Jaiteh contributed 11 points plus 10 rebounds to Virtus’ win while Marco Belinelli scored 10. Devon Hall dropped 16 points, Shavon Shields had 15 points plus five rebounds and Sergio Rodriguez posted 10 points plus seven assists for Milano.
