Sergio Scariolo’s team had a great first quarter, winning it with a 20-10 score. Trento managed to shake off the bad start, but Virtus continued playing well on both ends of the floor and improved their lead to 17 points before the big break.

The hosts improved defensively in the third period and won it 18-16, but still, they entered the last period with a 15-point deficit.

Virtus now has a perfect 7-0 score, while Trento suffered their third defeat (4-3) in Italian championship.

Armani Milan expectedly won 98-81 against Palacanestro Trieste with ease.
