Olimpia Milano may have the poorest offense this season in EuroLeague but its performances in the Italian League are a completely different matter. For a third straight Serie A game, Milano surpassed the 90-point mark to take a 92 – 63 blowout win over Dinamo Sassari and retain its position in the second place of the standings.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot had his best performance yet with the Milano jersey, scoring 21 points, dishing out six assists and grabbing five rebounds over just 21 minutes. The French swingman shot 4-9 on 2-pointers and 3-3 triples.

Billy Baron added 16 points plus six rebounds and Brandon Davies scored 16 as well and got five boards for the Red Shoes that went up 26 – 50 at halftime and never looked back. Ettore Messina’s players actually reached the fourth period with a 46 – 82 advantage before Sassari reduced its deficit a bit.

Eimantas Bendzius had 15 points for Sassari. Gerald Robinson scored 12 and Chris Dowed dropped 11 points. The Sardinian side lost for a second consecutive while this was the fifth victory in a row for Milano.

In the meantime, Virtus Bologna continued its undefeated run. Marco Belinelli scored 21 points as Sergio Scariolo’s team defeated Varese 100 – 108 on the road to move to 10-0.
