Daniel Hackett and Toko Shengelia were decisive in the black-and-white team’s victory

In Round 15 of the Italian league, Virtus Bologna suffered in the third quarter but still managed to get away with the 79-78 home win against Reyer Venezia.

Daniel Hackett led the home side since the beginning and had 17 points and 4 rebounds. Tornike Shengelia was also decisive in his team’s victory, scoring 15 points with 4 rebounds.

Milos Teodosic had 10 points, 8 assists and the three-pointer to give Virtus Bologna the final lead, while Isaia Cordinier produced the defensive play that sealed the deal, stealing the ball on Reyer’s last possession.

On the losing side, the EuroCup participant had a combined 43 points from Mitchell Watt, Michael Bramos, and Jordan Parks.

The black-and-white team, which sidelined Jaiteh and Lundberg, ended its four-game losing streak between LBA and EuroLeague after suffering consecutive defeats against Derthona, Zalgiris Kaunas, and Olympiacos.

Olimpia Milano had no issues against Tortona 79-63. Sealing the deal in a big push in the third quarter.  Nicolo Melli scored 16 points for the winning side.
