Tornike Shengelia received his EuroLeague October MVP award and then went on to post 20 points and 10 rebounds as Virtus Bologna defeated Nutribullet Treviso 91 – 77 at home to bounce back to wins in the Italian League.

Awudu Abass added 19 points and Isaia Cordinier scored 16 points for a Virtus team that began the game strong and led up to 74 – 47 at the beginning of the fourth period. The only negative for Virtus was that Jordan Mickey exited the game in the second period with an apparent ankle injury.

Deishuan Booker (15 points) and Alessandro Zanelli (13 points, five rebounds) stood out from Treviso.

It’s now going to be busy for Virtus in the upcoming double-game EuroLeague week as the team begins at home in the all-Italian clash vs Olimpia Milano Tuesday (14/11) and then travels to Athens to face Panathinaikos on Friday.
