Virtus Bologna star forward Tornike Shengelia will be out at least for the next 10 days due to back pain problems.
Shengelia will definitely miss the upcoming EuroLeague game of Virtus against ASVEL Villeurbanne (19/1) and the Italian League away match vs. Varese Saturday (21/1). He was also sidelined during the 103 – 76 win of his team over Brindisi (15/1).
In the 2023-24 EuroLeague season so far, Shengelia is averaging 15.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists as Virtus stands third in the standings with a 14 – 7 record.
